What NPC Forge Is

NPC Forge is a creative and publishing platform used to generate, organize, and transform tabletop and story content. This includes imported story material, generated narrative content, media assets, and optional publishing workflows such as YouTube upload automation.

What Data We Collect

We may collect account identifiers, story and chapter content, uploaded or generated media assets, workflow records, import and render job status, and YouTube connection metadata needed to operate the service.

When a Google integration is used, we may store the authorized account identity, granted scopes, server-side OAuth credentials, connection timestamps, and operation status. YouTube publishing also uses channel details and upload status. Scribe review workflows also use Google Doc identifiers, titles, document text, folder identifiers, and reviewer access information.

How We Use Data

We use collected data to provide the core NPC Forge experience, including content generation, import synchronization, media rendering, workflow tracking, troubleshooting, and optional publishing to connected platforms.

We also use operational logs and status records to support approvals, retries, audits, and safe automation controls.

Google Sign-In And YouTube Publishing

If you connect a Google account, NPC Forge uses Google OAuth to verify the connected account and, when approved by you, access YouTube features needed for channel verification and video upload.

The Mentor YouTube publishing service encrypts its stored refresh tokens. Its server uses these credentials for the connected publishing workflow, channel checks, and upload-related actions that you authorize.

Scribe Google Docs And Drive Review

Adventure Scribe uses an administrator-configured guild Google account to export review material to Google Docs and read corrections back into Scribe. Ordinary reviewers do not connect their personal Google Drives to this server-side integration.

Scribe requests per-file Google Drive access (drive.file). It can create review documents and access existing documents or folders explicitly selected for the app by the guild administrator. It uses this access to name files, write review text and images, read corrections, check permissions, and grant selected reviewers access. Pasting a document link does not by itself authorise access, and selecting a folder does not grant access to every existing file inside it.

Scribe retains document links, review text snapshots, reviewer email addresses and roles, and export/import status in its application records. Imported corrections may become part of the campaign record and may be processed by configured AI services when the associated review or generation workflow is used.

A document is shared with the reviewers selected for that workflow and with service accounts that need access to operate it. Sharing permissions and review invitations are distinct operations; enabling invitations can send the document link to the selected recipients. Access in Google Docs does not itself grant authority to publish campaign changes in Scribe.

Scribe uses server-side OAuth credentials to maintain its guild-account connection. Revoking that connection in the guild Google account stops future authorised API access, but does not automatically delete existing Docs, change their sharing permissions, or erase copies already imported into Scribe.

Hosting, Storage, And Service Providers

NPC Forge uses Google technologies including Firebase, Google Cloud, and related hosted services for application hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, and background processing.

Where integrations are enabled, connected third-party services such as YouTube are used only for the workflows you intentionally configure.

Cookies, Sessions, And Authentication

NPC Forge may use authentication state, session tokens, and local browser storage to keep you signed in, preserve settings, and support normal application behavior.

These technologies are used to operate the product and are not intended as a separate advertising or consumer tracking system.

Retention And Deletion

We retain data for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain workflow history, support troubleshooting, or comply with legitimate operational requirements.

If you need data or connected account details removed, contact the developer using the address below.

Your Choices

You may disconnect supported third-party integrations, stop using the service, or request review of stored account-connected data. Some operational records may remain as part of job history or service integrity logs.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as NPC Forge evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
